Teaching Philosophy and Goals.

I was drawn to physics at secondary school by a desire to understand the natural world and apply that knowledge to real life problems. I base my teaching on the belief that every student can learn physics and maths. It is from this notion that I, a Physicist turn teacher to make a difference both in classroom and the society. Learning is most effective when learners have opportunities to think, reason and debate their understanding. Hence, focusing my teaching on high quality instructional materials and creating opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking, analytical skills and problems solving techniques that has helped to maintain high levels of student attainment and satisfaction.

My goals in teaching are not just to promote learning of the subject matter, but to give students knowledge and understanding of the principles and the application of scientific concepts through a thorough introduction to the study of Maths and Physics. Experienced in the use of virtual learning environment (VLE) which has helped me to broaden the learning opportunities for my learners, communicate with each other and provide them with more personalised and e-learning activities by taken into consideration inclusion. I motivate and stimulate my students and create sustained interest of Science and Maths in them.

In all, my flair and passion for teaching have made me so proud of these subjects.
